29 Card Game 19.1.2

This game belongs to a family of South Asian trick-taking games where the Jack and the Nine hold the highest value in every suit. It is believed to have originated from the European Jass games that started in the Netherlands. Dutch traders introduced these games to the Indian subcontinent.

For gameplay, 32 cards from a standard 52-card deck are used. Each suit follows the ranking: Jack, Nine, Ace, Ten, King, Queen, Eight, Seven. The objective is to win tricks that contain high-value cards. The point system for the cards is as follows:

• Nines: 2 points each
• Aces: 1 point each
• Tens: 1 point each
• Other cards (King, Queen, Eight, Seven): no points
